Meet the Founder:

Dr. Julie Richards, DNP-C – Doctorate Family Nurse Practitioner

  • Dr. Julie Richards is the founder and heart of BradRich Healthcare. With nearly 20 years of experience in oncology, hematology, ICU, nutritional and obesity medicine, and primary care, she blends advanced medical knowledge with real-world compassion.
  • Having once weighed over 300 pounds herself, Julie knows firsthand how difficult the weight loss journey can feel. That personal experience drives her passion for GLP-1 programs, obesity medicine, and metabolic health. She founded BradRich to create a space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
  • Dr. Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in finance, followed by her Master’s in Nursing Education, and ultimately her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, passionate about blending science, real-life empathy, and patient education in every visit.
  • She founded BradRich to offer modern, nonjudgmental care, especially for those struggling with weight, metabolic health, and navigating today's broken insurance systems.
